WORDS ARE IMPORTANT!

Words Are Important.

Have you ever stopped to wonder why you may not be seeing the physical manifestation of what God has revealed to you in your spirit? I submit that one of the reasons is because of the words that you speak over your own life or life’s situation.

“The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit.” Proverbs 18:21

Whatever you have been praying for must be spoken out loudly into the earth realm in order for the whole earth to know that you have enough faith to believe that God will honor that which God has spoken to you in the spirit realm.

For example, if you have children who are not progressing well in school, when was the last time you begin to pray “out loud” to God that they will be honor-roll students? When was the last time you stood directly in front of the child and declared and decreed that they are not a failure, that they have success in and all over them?

Perhaps you have been struggling with a crushing load of debt. Have you spoken out loud into the earth realm that your debts will be paid in full? Have you declared that God will meet every need that has to be met and for God to move you from beyond just enough to more than enough?

Words are important. In words the power of life exists. In words the power of death exists.

Three things will happen when you begin to speak life into whatever you are trusting God for.

One; when you speak life into your situation, God’s angels begins to stand at attention and is prepared for deployment to administer aid wherever aid is needed. God’s angels do not always manifest just in the spirit realm, but can manifest through people as well. You never know where the very blessing may come from that you are seeking when you begin to speak life into your situation.

God’s angels serve primarily one purpose, their purpose is to execute the commands of God. How do you communicate to God that you desire for God to get things moving in your life? You communicate through your words.
Jesus said that “whatever we bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever we loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.” Matthew 18:18

Second; Satan becomes terrorized when you begin to speak life into your situation. Satan becomes terrorized because your words have the power to begin dismantling all of the evil powers that Satan has to offer. Satan knows that you are covered by the blood of Jesus Christ. Hence, Satan already knows that he is defeated and that if you begin to speak up and speak out loudly he will not be able to withstand the increased faith that flows through you.

Your speaking life into your situation also slams shut the gates of death that Satan is attempting to push you towards.

Three; when you speak life into your situation God begins to heal you day by day. In Luke 17:11-19 a group of lepers approach Jesus and “speak out in a loud voice” to be healed. Notice “speak out, loud voice” and Jesus healed them of their disease. Also notice that they were not healed on the spot, but as they begin to walk to the priests to show themselves. As they were walking, the lepers were totally cleansed.
Speaking life out loudly is not a one-time event. Speaking life out loudly is a lifestyle that should be practiced daily.
Words are important.

Start today and begin to speak life through your words out verbally into the earth realm that will notify the spirit realm that you are prepared to terrorize Satan’s realm that you will be victorious and empowered.

Remember:

“The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit.” Proverbs 18:21

God Sees Your Not Yet

There is not one single person on this planet who has the authority to abort the destiny for which God has created them for.   In fact, what is sad but true is that there are many people who go through life believing that because they may have a sordid and checkered past, God cannot use them.  This is absolutely not true! God can use any person, anytime, and in any way that God so chooses.  Regardless if you are a drug addict, victim of abuse, prostitute, convicted felon, homosexual, or any other societal type un-favored by people, God can use you to accomplish great and mighty things.

I am a living witness of the miraculous saving power of Jesus Christ.  Throughout my life there have been many occasions where society counted me out.  Society said that I would end up spending the rest of my life in prison, if not dead.

Where society erects barriers and rules to block you from moving forward, God can demolish any barrier and upset any rule.  People may scandalize your name and even spread vicious rumors about you.   However, you must know and fully believe that God has the ability to make your enemies your footstool.

God Sees Your Not Yet examines the life of Jacob.  We will examine the good, the bad, and the ugly.  We will hone in on how from birth Jacob gave his mother Rebekah such a hard time that she had to ask God why so much pain.  We will look at how God took a person who in today’s society would have been rejected all because of his past.   Nevertheless, God used Jacob to do awesome things that even to this day still confounds many people.  Most of all, when you are done with this book you should be able to apply to your own life some of the principles that we learn from Jacob’s life.

A Charge To Keep I Have, To Serve the Present Age

“A Charge to Keep I Have”
I am amazed at the number of pastors who have yet to embrace and appreciate the impact that social media can have on their ministry. You would think that in the 21st century at minimum embracing a synergistic approach and understanding the importance of “free” platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Blogs,  PowerPoint worship services, Video Announcements, E-Mail Newsletters… ministries would be beating themselves up to employ these technologies.
On top of that, anyone who says “I don’t understand all of that computer stuff” is no excuse. Trust me, there is a young person sitting in your pews Sunday after Sunday who would love to get you started on exploring the technology frontier if you would simply ask.
Imagine the impact that your ministry could have for the Kingdom of God “IF” you would dare to try 21st century technology.
I will close with a very familiar hymn (Especially to AMEC ministers) “A Charge to Keep I Have”. I love the words to verse 2. “To serve the present age, my calling to fulfill, o may it all my powers engage; to do my Master’s will.”
Are you serving the present age?

Standing As One In Prayer

Let’s face it, when President Barack Obama took office this nation was flat on its back gasping for oxygen. America was in the midst of the worst economic recession since the 1930’s. Foreclosures were through the roof. Unemployment was sky high. There were wars in three countries. Millions of people were locked out of health care. A certain news channel that starts with “F” and ends with “X” were and continues to perpetuate cynicism and uses racially suggestive language.

Look at car row in your city, at one time car dealerships were there, as a result of President George W. Bush many of them are now out of business, in addition to banks and finance companies.

Since President Obama has been elected the “Tea Party” which is a 21st century White Citizens Council from the Jim Crow era continues to spread fear, employ and spread divisive racial issues that are aimed to create wedges between Blacks and Whites, the poor, and working class people.

Since President Obama has been elected Republicans refuse to give any kind of support whatsoever other than marching under the banner of “Hell No” to every single effort that has been made to move America forward rather than backwards. Sarah Palin’s campaign to “Take Back America” (to where, Jim Crow and Jane Crow”) is based on nothing more than injecting lies, fear, and hatred into the veins of individuals who lacks the capacity to utilize critical thinking.

Let’s set the record straight and see why it is so important that you join me every Wednesday and Friday at 12:00 p.m. EST through November 2, 2010 Election Day as we lift our President in prayer. Please join me and many others as we gather on our phones and enter into prayer at one time lifting our beloved President and the elections that will be taking place throughout America.

Please see the list below at what our President has been able to accomplish as a result of a nation of like minded people continuing to keep our President lifted in prayer:

God Has A Blessing For You, How Bad Do You Want It

God has something in store for you that is going to absolutely blow your mind. The question is will you trust God enough to do what is necessary in order to be able to walk in the destiny that God has designed just for you?
The sad truth is, God never makes the route to your destiny a bed of roses. As a matter of fact often times the bigger blessing God has for you the more challenging the road may be. However I like what Jesus says to Paul 2nd Corinthians : "My grace is sufficent for you" 2nd Corinthians 12:9
News flash. Satan’s primary job is to abort the destiny that God is pushing you to. Please do not fall victim to the redundant games of Satan. After all, Satan has only one tactic. The tactic is to cause you to doubt and lose faith that God will do what God said God will do.
The choice is yours. I can’t make you do it. Your pastor can’t make you do it. Your best friend can’t make you do it. Believe it or not, even God will not make you do it. You must have a made up mind that no matter what, you will pursue and posses what God has for you.
What are you going to do about it? May I suggest that whenever you begin to feel defeated and that God will not honor what God said would be done that you reflect on the scripture below:
And let us not be weary in well-doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. Galatians 6:9
When you begin to feel faint reflect on what the Prophet Isaiah records:
Do you not know?  Have you not heard? The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom.
 He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall;
but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. Isaiah 40:28-31

How bad do you want what God has in store for you?
